Once upon a time there was a boy who saw a movie that rocked him to his core.  That boy was Jared Rivet and that movie was Creepshow.  As any Earbud fan knows, Jared has a thing for horror, but you may not have known about his obsession with anthology horror.  So it was fated that eventually Jared would take the plunge and create his very own anthology episode with three thrilling tales of terror complete with the hostess with the mostest – Nocturna.  Yes, Jared has contributed an anthology episode to an anthology podcast.  And we couldn’t be more thrilled to share this with you.  Behind the boards is Craig Good who has spent a ton of time creating this soundscape that’s sure to blow your mind!With the Halloween season upon us, we’re proud to present – TALES FROM THE DEAD OF NIGHT!

Fayna Sanchez (Nocturna):

Born in the Canary Islands, Spain and raised in the Midwest, Fayna received her BFA from Ohio University’s School of Theatre. Some of her favorite credits include: hit comedy Angie Tribeca on TBS, All Wrong on VICE, and on stage as Looney Lucy in SLASHED! The Musical. She was last seen on The Hollywood Fringe Festival stage as Veronica in Stephen Adly Guirgis’ The Motherfucker With The Hat, which earned a win for “Best Ensemble Theatre” and “Pick Of The Fringe”.  Keep up to date with her on Instagram @fayna.bo.byna

Chelsea Ricketts (Jill):

Chelsea Ricketts is an actress from Houston, Texas. She is best known for her roles on the hit tv shows Scream Queens (FOX), True Blood(HBO), and The Killing (AMC). She has starred in a number of commercials, television shows, and feature films, including Crooked Arrows, Jackals and the newest horror film in the Amityville franchise coming out early November “The Amityville Murders.” You can also see her this month on Lifetimes “The Detective.”

Zena Grey (Allison):

Zena Grey is an actor, editor, multi-media artist, and amateur animator and has been doing all of those things about as long as she can remember. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, she now lives in Hollywood, CA, and collects and occasionally showcases odd 16mm films with her partner, under the name Lost & Found Film Club. Her first crush was on Frankenstein, and she has been possessed, I mean, obsessed by classic horror/noir films and radio dramas ever since. You can see her in MTV’s Scream Season 2, Wes Craven’s My Soul To TakeHouse on FOX, award-winning short From Hell She Rises, and so much more!

Jared Rivet (the Voice):

Jared Rivet is a screenwriter, producer, director, essayist, and voice actor. He is the screenwriter of Jackals, a feature film directed by Kevin Greutert starring Stephen Dorff and Johnathon Schaech, distributed theatrically and on home video by Scream Factory in 2017. Since 2014, he has written, directed and acted in multiple episodes of Earbud Theater. He was nominated for an Audio Verse Award for his performance in the 2016 Earbud Theater episode On The Line, which he also wrote and directed. In September 2018, he moderated a masterclass with filmmaker Don Coscarelli for the Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies. He contributed an essay about the 1982 horror-anthology classic Creepshow to the 2018 collection My Favorite Horror Movie, published by Black Vortex Cinema. He served as a guest lecturer at the Drexel University Great Works Symposium’s “Zom Con” in 2015, and he has co-hosted “Dead Right Horror Trivia” with Dr. Rebekah McKendry since 2015, a monthly horror trivia event held at Blast from the Past in Burbank. Graham Skipper (Gary):

Graham Skipper is an actor/writer/director best known for originating the role of Herbert West in Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator The Musical, as well as the films Almost Human, The Mind’s Eye, and Beyond The Gates, among others. This year his feature directorial debut Sequence Break premiered on Shudder! Graham is thrilled to be returning to the audio horror world, having appeared on several episodes of Sirius XM’s reboot of Suspense.

Josh Miller (James):

Josh is a writer-director and sometime actor. He was the creator and lead voice actor of the FOX animated TV series Golan the Insatiable, as well as the co-writer of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog feature film and the co-writer/co-director of the Blumhouse/Hulu Into the Dark feature segment, School Spirit. He is also the co-founder and host of the long-running Los Angeles horror screening series, Friday Night Frights.

Tracy Clifton (Candice):

Tracy grew up in a small town in New Hampshire that no one has ever heard of, and now she lives in Los Angeles, which everyone has heard of. She’s been acting professionally since the age of eight, and she especially loves acting in horror, even though she literally cannot make it through watching all of Gremlins 2. When she’s not screaming into a microphone for Earbud Theater’s podplays, you can find her writing and starring in her own film projects, hiking, or sitting in her car, stuck in traffic. Marc Gottlieb (Lenny):

Marc Gottlieb is a screenwriter, a DJ, and now, a voice actor living in Los Angeles. Trapped in a world he never made, he’s passionate about Italian horror films, Godzilla movies, extreme thrill rides, and the Pittsburgh Steelers. His new film Triassic World is available on VOD and iTunes.

Clarke Wolfe (Keira):

An actress, a host, and a big nerd, Clarke Wolfe is known as a popular correspondent for Nerdist, Collider, Skybound, Syfy, and more. She is the producer and co-star of SLASHED! The Muscial which was nominated for Best Musical at the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Clarke will next be seen in the upcoming feature film Satanic Panic directed by Chelsea Stardust.

Samantha Tan (Faith):

Born and raised in Malaysia, Samantha is an international actress, writer, director and dancer now based in Los Angeles after working in London and New York City. She is the first Malaysian in history to become a Lifetime Member of The Actors Studio.

Notable UK credits include High School Musical (original London cast), The King & I (Royal Albert Hall) alongside Daniel Dae Kim, Bizet’s Carmen at the O2 Arena, the BRIT Awards, and the 2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony, where she was a featured dancer behind Russell Brand watched by an estimated TV audience of 750 million worldwide.

Samantha is also a chef-entrepreneur and founder of Sam Tan’s Kitchen. In Sept 2018 she wrote, directed, produced and starred in the short film/pilot Ally Chia, a dramatic comedy loosely based on her real life experiences as a struggling chef. The film was shot with an all-female crew and is now in post-production. Ally Chia marks Samantha’s first original script and is currently a semi-finalist for the MACRO Episodic Lab powered by The Black List.

Adam J. Yeend (Micah):

Adam J. Yeend is an Australian actor and producer. Trained by actor John Noble (‘Lord of the Rings’, JJ Abrams ‘Fringe’), Adam has worked extensively on stage and on camera with credits including Lifetime Network’s Liz & Dick and ABC’s Scandal. Yeend was producer on the hit online horror series Scary Endings as well as Skypemare and Brentwood Strangler – the latter of which he also played the lead role opposite Jordan Ladd. In 2014, Yeend received critical acclaim for his work in the Australian Theater Company’s Los Angeles Production of Holding the Man directed by Larry Moss.  A huge genre fan, Adam is thrilled to be joining the Earbud Theater community and thanks writer Jared Rivet for this opportunity.

Jesse Merlin (The Voice of the Beyond):

Jesse Merlin was decapitated 200 times as Dr. Hill in Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator the Musical, is currently singing Hannibal Lecter in SILENCE! The Musical, and acts in genre films like Beyond the Gates and All The Creatures Were Stirring. You may recognize his voice as Impact Man in Mega Man 11 or F.A.N.G in Street Fighter V.

Griffin Morgan (Isaac):

Griffin Morgan is thrilled to be a part of this amazing production of Tales from the Dead Of Night, led and mastered by the brilliant Jared Rivet and Casey Wolf. Griffin has appeared on episodes of Showtime’s “Shameless” and Fox network’s “The Mick” as well as several national and regional commercials including Maxwell House, ANA Airlines and KFC. Short film credits include The Things We’ve Seen, Hope Street, Arabella, and Mawahyaya. Griffin is 9 years old and represented by AKA Talent Agency and managed by Mincks Talent Management. He enjoys all things horror, reading, video games, and is very imaginative and creative at drawing. Griffin has taken piano lessons for 2 years and is a double threat in tap and hip-hop.

Adam Fox (Malachai):

Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Adam Fox has called L.A. home since 2004. He’s appeared in plays such as The Foreigner at the Morgan-Wixson Theater, Karma: The Awakening at the El Portal, as well as the horror comedy feature film George: A Zombie Intervention. He also regularly performs improv for vacationing students from around the world with the NoHo Arts Tour, and at various bars, clubs, and theaters with the comedy group Economy Class. He wishes you a happy & never-ending Halloween.

Aimee Sagara (Enthusiastic Audience Member):

After splitting her childhood between San Francisco and Pittsburgh, Aimee studied English literature and theatre at Washington & Jefferson College, as well as screenwriting at Pittsburgh Filmmakers. Stage highlights include One-Third of a Nation…When You Comin’ Back, Red Ryder?, and Twelfth Night. Film credits include playing a high schooler in the background of nearly every TV show filmed in Los Angeles between 2014 and 2018.

Clayton Keller (Autograph Hound):

Clayton Keller is excited to be making his Earbud Theater debut with Tales from the Dead of Night. He was previously seen in Tales of Halloween and will next be appearing in SpookyDan Walker’s Slay Belles. His favorite horror movie is John Carpenter’s The Thing.

Brandon Moore (composer) bio:

Composer Brandon Moore grew up listening to film scores and performing music in his native Arlington, Texas. In 1999 he moved to Los Angeles to study film scoring at USC where some of his teachers were film composers Elmer Bernstein, David Raksin and Christopher Young.

Brandon has composed a variety of scores such as the Phoenix International Horror & Sci-Fi Festival winner, Ray Bradbury’s Chrysalis(2009), one of three screen adaptations of the acclaimed writer’s stories for which Brandon has written original music.

His score to The Table was nominated for the Gold Medal for Best Impact of Music in a Documentary category at the Park City Film Music Festival in 2011. Brandon also composed the score for the horror/comedy series Killer Sisters’ Midnight Hour for Hulu.com.

Brandon recently scored the family sci-fi adventure film Aliens Ate My Homework for Universal based on the best-selling book series by Bruce Coville. The soundtrack was released by Back Lot Music in March.

Folsom Keller (composer) bio:

Folsom Marshall Keller is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, and audio engineer based out of Sherman Oaks, CA. He is the founder and bassist of Deep Fryd Dynamite.

Craig Good (sound designer) bio:

Craig Good worked over 30 years at Pixar, starting at Lucasfilm in 1982. He did a little of everything in the old days, and in the last half of his tenure specialized in virtual camera operation. He wrote the screenplay for the first Pixar University live-action short, Violet, co-directed the short Calendar Confloption, and did executive producer like duties on a few more shorts. He has provided voices for several films including Toy Story and Cars. His voice is still the one you hear on Pixar’s phone system. More recently he wrote the Earbud Theater episode, 911. He now produces audiobooks and podcasts, teaches Visual Storytelling at the California College of the Arts, and does sound for short films.
